Ras has been talking to the hotel in Bacharach about dinner menus. When you have a moment, can you let me know if you prefer meat, fish or vegetarian options. Also any other preferences or allergies.
If, like me, you haven't explored the Middle Rhein, you are in for a treat. Fairytale castles, peaceful vineyards and picturesque villages are promised. It was declared a World Heritage Site a few years ago, and is recognised as a centre of European culture. Click HERE for some spectacular views of the area.
If you know the area, please let me know your suggestion of things to do. We are thinking of a trip along the river, a visit to a food market, an ebike tour, sampling the local wine, a walk in the hills and a picnic in a beauty spot. What else??
