On Friday 11 July we have booked a tapas bar Luz de Mar, for dinner, at .7.30. Let us know if you will be joining. Also, do WhatsApp us if you are delayed.
What’s the WhatsApp?? Tomorrow Ras will send out the invite to the group. Let us know if you DON’T want to join the group.
We have booked a number of group events.
12 July Celebration Dinner – Ras is paying for this.
12 July Bacharach guided walk – cost euro 22/12 for abstainers.
13 July Rhein cruise – cost euro 16.80/6.20 for kids.
To make it really easy for you, will will send you a final bill after the event. This will include the balance of your accommodation costs as well as the cost of the Town Walk and the Rhein Cruise.
Dress codes. In general WEAR GOLD! Jewels, nails, medallions, heraldic shields, shoes……
For the Cricket match, on 13 July, please wear a black or a white tee shirt. Accordingly, you will be in the black team or the white one!!
Please bring with you a secret about yourself. Please share these with Ava and Ferdie once you get there! Also bring a personal water bottle, preferably gold. If not, prepare to be arrested by the water bottle sherriffs.

The shopping trollies, yes...(not the Yellow Man Theatre Co..) I missed that one. I think of the trollies enterprise every time I visit Waitrose & Sainsburys and use a trolley that uses the concept today and I think of what could have been.....
Good story Laurie! There were a few enterprises. Did you get involved with the shopping trollies?? And the Yellow Man Theatre Company?
1981/1982...ish. Memory is failing me. All I remember was that Andreas just returned from Egypt (snorkelling) with Afzal and there was a full blown business plan being drafted to establish a school of snorkelling - RED SEA SCHOOL OF SNORKELLING (ALEXANDRIA BRANCH). Andreas (CEO) was looking to recruit me. Afzal was already VP. We ended up drinking 3 x bottles of red wine while watching the sun go down (and then rise again). AFZAL DRANK WATER!!!! I lost 18hrs of sleep that day!
I'll be joining for tapas at bar Luz de Mar - 7:30pm on 11 July. Subject to any delays....
I know Ras for about 40 years, we became friends in about 40 seconds, I am looking forward to share happy moments with him for at least another 40 years !
I am arriving at Frankfurt at 4.30pm I have not yet checked how, how long it takes me to get to the train or booked my ticket for the train but I am almost sure to be in Bacharach by 7.30pm so I will be there for the meal.

On 11th our flight arrives at 18:20 in Frankfurt, so will not be in Bacharach until around 20:30. Depending on when we get to Bacharach we may join you at taps bar.

Burt Bacharach mostly like has German ancestry in town of Bacharach, however the connect to Andreas is that his mother was amateur artist and did a few paintings like Andreas.
Ella Fitzgerald played a most memorable concert in Berlin which Andreas's Mum and Dad when to see.
Looking forward to taking Ras out in the cricket again! Although both of us a few years older so might not manage to jump as high 😂😂😂
